Cancellation
Policy
I understand that on occasion, a special meeting comes up
at work with a conference call to Hong Kong. I understand that
your son’s drum kit needs to be repaired and you can only
go at a certain time. I understand if your cat is sick and I understand
if you need to pick a partner up from the airport. More importantly,
I understand the need for ‘mental health days’ and
‘martini days’. Also, morning sickness, general illness,
bad hair days, migraines and better offers. HOWEVER
Please arrive five minutes prior to your class time. Please phone with your ETA if you are running late, by ANY increment. If you are more than fifteen minutes late, the studio reserves the right to cancel the session and a full fee will be charged.
Any cancellation, which is not supplied with 24 hours notice, will attract a cancellation fee of one full session. This is not negotiable.

Both studio and client must commit to your session. You will be welcomed to the studio and supported throughout your time at The Movement Refinery, Carlton.

Client profile security is of the utmost importance. That is why Mind Body Online has been chosen as our studio management partner. This software is used worldwide in exercise studios and offers the client complete protection.
When you make payments online using our real-time payment option, your credit card details will be completely encrypted within the system, ensuring a safe passage to us.
We respect your privacy and will not share information with any other party.
We will use your email address providing you have opted in to receive our newsletters and updates. If for any reason you wish to receive this information in another format, please email or call the studio to unsubscribe from e-services.

MINDBODY is PCI compliant
The Movement Refinery Carlton uses MINDBODY online as our daily management software.
MINDBODY is one of the Pilates industry's few PCI compliant Level 1 Service Providers <http://usa.visa.com/download/merchants/cisp-list-of-pcidss-compliant-service-providers.pdf> . That means that our software protects your credit cards with 512-bit encryption keys, which instantly mask your credit card numbers once they’re saved. After the instant encryption, human eyes will never see the card numbers again. If this isn’t enough, card numbers are stored behind software firewalls, hardware firewalls, enterprise strength malware protection, intrusion detection systems, external and internal scans, audit trails, and a super secure data center that’s complete with checkpoints and biometric scanners. It looks like something out of a James Bond flick. MindBody also employ technicians to watch the network 24/7/365.
There is no safer place to store your credit card information than through a PCI compliant studio, like The Movement Refinery Carlton.

TMR Sales and Refund Policy
The product which we sell is a service and an experience. As each client and body presents with varied issues and injuries, Pilates and Gyrotonic can sometimes be difficult to ‘enjoy’ as it is a treatment plan for each and every client. This however, is not a reason to discontinue classes.
As the service we provide is based upon the client being active and following our advice, we can therefore not provide refunds.
However, we can transfer the balance of classes to another existing client or a future client that you refer. In the case of a new client to the studio, the new client will need to have two private sessions first at his or her own expense, as do all of our new clients. It is between the two clients to organise the transfer of funds outside of the studio.
When purchasing a block of sessions, please remember to view the expiration dates on our website for specific to each of these blocks.
All clients must be aware of the guidelines page on the website, including the late cancellation policy. |
